Serving Baton Rouge and the Capital Region
EXCEL serves Baton Rouge. We teach students across East Baton Rouge Parish and the whole Capital Region, live over Zoom and through the self paced course, and we have been teaching Louisiana agents for years. The city has other schools and they have been here a long time too. The question is not whether you can find a classroom. It is who is standing at the front of it.
The approved course is online and self-paced. It opens the moment you enroll and you have 180 days with it. Work a shift, work a weekend, work at midnight. Nobody is waiting on you.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 to 8 PM, across four weeks with a week off in the middle. Not a review of everything. Only the areas that years of tutoring show are where students actually struggle most on the exam.
Attend the live class as often as you like for your full 180 days. If you fail, repeat it free. And you have one on one time with the instructor the whole way through.
EXCEL teaches Baton Rouge students every week, along with students in every other part of Louisiana. There are also established schools in this city. They have taught a lot of good agents and we are not going to tell you otherwise. If sitting in a room is how you learn, go sit in one. What we would ask you to compare is not the address. Ask what the live hours are actually spent on. Ours are 16 hours on the exact material that costs people the exam, taught by a working broker you can reach on a direct line, and you can sit them again as many times as you like for 180 days. Fail, and you repeat the whole thing free. Compare that, and then decide.
From the Capital Region
Not whoever is available that night. The same working broker teaches every live session, so the answer you get in the last week comes from the person who gave you the answer in the first.
Sixteen hours, aimed only at the material that years of tutoring show costs people the exam. Not a march through all 90 hours again, which is time you have already spent.
The approved 90 hours are online and open immediately, so nothing has to fill and no term has to begin before you can start studying.
Louisiana does not issue a lesser license to someone who studied online. The LREC approval is on the school and that's what matters.
Post-license, continuing education and ten NAR designations all run the same way, with the same instructor. You are not starting over with a stranger at renewal.
Call 337-522-3334 before you spend anything and ask which course you actually need. You will get the instructor, not a script.
Baton Rouge questions
If your question is not here, call 337-522-3334 and ask. You will get the instructor.
Yes. We teach students throughout Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish and the wider Capital Region, and we serve every parish in Louisiana the same way. Live classes run on Zoom with a real instructor on a real schedule, and the self paced course is open any time. Our office is in Lafayette, so if you specifically want a classroom seat in Baton Rouge there are schools here for that. What we offer is a working broker teaching every live session, wherever in the state you happen to be sitting.
No. Our office is in Lafayette and we teach Baton Rouge students over Zoom and through the online course. There are LREC approved schools physically in Baton Rouge, and if a classroom seat here is what you want, you have options. What we offer is a working broker teaching every live session, wherever in the state you are sitting.
Two reasons people give us. The first is what the live hours are spent on: ours are 16 hours aimed only at the material that years of tutoring show is where students lose the exam, rather than a second pass through everything. The second is the instructor. Every session is taught by the same working Louisiana broker, and you can sit the class again as often as you like for your full 180 days, free, including if you fail. If a classroom seat close to home matters more to you than either of those, a local school is a fine choice and we will tell you so on the phone.
Yes. The Louisiana Real Estate Commission approves the school, not the room. The same 90 hours count whether you sit them in a classroom, on Zoom, or on your own schedule, and the license at the end is identical.
The online 90 hours are $150. For $600 you get those same hours plus the 16 hour live class, over Zoom or in person, repeatable for your full 180 days. On top of either one you have the state application, the fingerprint background check, the Pearson VUE exam and errors and omissions insurance before the license issues. Those are the same wherever you study. The cost page lists every figure.
Yes, and most people do. The mandatory course, your electives, the 45-hour post-license course and ten NAR designations and certifications all run the same way, taught by the same instructor. That continuity is the main reason people stay after the license.
Absolutely not. In fact, tons of students get licensed with the self-paced course alone. The in-person class does not count toward your 90 hours. And for what it is worth, at every Louisiana school that offers a combined in-person and online program, students get their 90 hours from the online portion. It is a tutorship covering the most difficult areas of the course. Our developer and instructor created this 16-hour tutorship after years of helping agents pass the exam. He kept seeing the same areas trip students up, so he built the tutorship to solve that problem. It is there for people who want an in-person instructor guiding them through the process.
Talk to the instructor first
The online 90 hours open as soon as you enroll. If you want the 16 live hours with them, the next class cycle is listed on the course page and you can join it over Zoom or in person. Not sure which you need, call 337-522-3334 and ask before you spend anything.
