Which of the two 90-hour options suits you, the $150 self paced course or the $600 live class, and what happens after you finish it.
The 45-hour post-license course, when it is due, and what happens if you miss the deadline.
The 2026 mandatory course for agents and for brokers, the elective hours, and how many you still owe this year.
ABR, SRS, SRES, RENE, PSA, MRP and SFR, all taught by an NAR approved instructor.
Practice tests and flashcards if your hours are done and the exam is the only thing standing in your way.
Take the free assessment first. It costs nothing and takes about ten minutes.
FAQ
These answers keep the decision practical.
No. The self paced courses are online and open anywhere, any time. The live classes run on Zoom, so you can sit in one from any parish in Louisiana. The Lafayette office is there if you would rather talk in person, but nothing requires you to travel.
Steven Desormeaux, the instructor. He is a working Louisiana broker who teaches the pre-license and continuing education classes himself, so the person answering your question is the person teaching the course.
Email is usually answered the same business day. If you need an answer quickly, calling 337-522-3334 during business hours is faster than waiting on email.
Yes. Call with your license number and we can walk through what you have completed, what is left, and which courses cover the gap. Louisiana requires twelve hours a year, including the mandatory topic.
Start with whether real estate suits you before you spend anything. After that the questions worth asking are which 90-hour format fits your schedule, what the full cost comes to including state fees, and how long the process takes end to end.
Ask before you enroll
Call and ask. It takes two minutes, it costs nothing, and you will be talking to the instructor who teaches the class rather than a salesperson.
